NEW YORK (PIX11) — A bright and beautiful Easter Sunday is on tap in the New York City area.

The sunshine and seasonable temperatures around 54 make it a perfect day to enjoy the Easter Parade in Midtown, according to the National Weather Service.

There’s plenty more sun ahead in the workweek. Monday will see highs around 61 degrees and 68 for Tuesday, the NWS said. Then the weather really warms up with a stretch of 70-degree days rounding out the week.
