NEW YORK (PIX11) — Although there are still issues women in the workforce has made some major progress in America.
One field they’ve done that is medicine — more than 36% of doctors in America are women, and they also make up a majority of medical school students.
Dr. Jennifer Mieres, a cardiologist and senior vice president for equity of care at Northwell Health, joined PIX11 Morning News to learn more about women in the medical field.
