GRAMERCY PARK (PIX11) – Police are hunting for a man suspected of raping a woman inside the bathroom of a Manhattan bar early Saturday evening.

Police released surveillance video purportedly showing the suspect, who they believe raped a 23-year-old woman inside the Turnmill Bar, at 119 E. 27th St. between Lexington Avenue and Park Avenue South.

Police say the woman was in the ladies’ room around 7:30 p.m., and when she opened the door to the toilet stall he allegedly pulled her in, grabbed her by the throat, and raped her.

The victim was rushed to North Shore-LIJ Lenox Hill Healthplex for treatment and evaluation, but the suspect managed to get away.
