A falling tree branch injured a woman in Central Park Tuesday afternoon.

59-year-old Sharon Reese of Indiana was in the park with her husband when the branch hit her at about 4 p.m. at West 86th Street.

Reese was rushed to St. Luke’s Roosevelt and is in serious but stable condition.

A source tells PIX11 she has a head injury and broken arm.

The 15-feet branch fell from 40-feet high.

It’s still unclear what caused the branch to fall. Officials are looking into the wind or the rain.
