VENTURA, Calif.— A 21-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly set her ex-boyfriend’s car on fire in Ventura, California.

William Skinner, 32, called police, around 8:30 a.m. Sunday, saying his ex-girlfriend, Jacqueline Zavala-Lopez, was in front of his house trying to break in his front window, KTLA reported.

Officers responded to the home, but Zavala-Lopez had already fled the scene.

According to KTLA, Skinner received a text from Zavala-Lopez, while police were still there, telling him to “check his vehicle,” which was parked across the street.
