‘We dodged a bullet’: Long Island mostly spared by wrath of Henri


BAY SHORE, N.Y. — Long Island was spared from the worst of Henri after the storm shifted east Sunday morning, but the warnings from forecasters were enough for many residents still haunted by Superstorm Sandy to take action and prepare.
