Commuter Alert: NJ Transit delayed up to an hour at Penn Station

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN — New Jersey Transit trains in and out of New York Penn Station due to downed overhead wires, officials said Thursday.

Delays were up to 60 minutes.

NJ Transit officials said Midtown Direct service was being diverted to Hoboken, and NJ Transit rail tickets and passes were to be cross-honored at PATH stations at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and New York’s 33rd Street PATH station
