Bryant Park, Manhattan (PIX11)–  Two people were shot Saturday night at the ice skating rink in Manhattan’s Bryant Park.  One of the victims – an innocent teen – may have been paralyzed.

According to the NY Post, a 16-year-old has been arrested for the shootings.

Police believe Corey Dunton from the Bronx was a gang-banger involved with the Bloods and opened fire last night.

He was taken to the Midtown South precinct where he refused to answer questions without a lawyer present.

Shots rang out about 11 last night as hundreds of people were enjoying the fall evening in the park, sending them scurrying for safety still with their skates on.

A 14-year-old boy, identified in published reports as Adonis Mera, was struck in the torso.  Another man in his 20’s was hit in the leg.

Police are investigating the possibility that the shooting was over a coat.  Witnesses reported hearing the shooter demand a coat from the intended victim – who was unharmed – before opening fire.
