A woman shoplifting at a Manhattan Victoria’s Secret was caught carrying a stillborn baby in a shopping bag, according to police.
The 17-year-old woman and her friend, who is also 17, were spotted stealing lingerie at the Herald Square store at about 1:30 p.m. A security guard apprehended the women and called police.
When authorities arrived, the arresting officers found the stillborn inside the shopping bag. The woman told cops she had a miscarriage, sources said.
The woman who claims the stillborn was hers was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is stable condition.
Charges are pending against the women.
