NEW YORK — For the next seven days, the world’s biggest fashion designers will converge on the Big Apple for New York Fashion Week.

One fashion show that got a lot of attention was The #MeToo Fashion Show where sexual assault victims were be front and center.

Designer Myriam Chalek used her show and time during NYFW on Friday to spotlight victims of sexual assault.

In the past, Chalek has featured blind models as well as little people in her shows in an effort to give a platform to those who feel like they don’t have one.

In her emotional #MeToo show featured nearly a dozen models, all who walked the runway and shared their stories of survival. Each model was escorted with a male model donning a pig mask.
