QUEENS — It was a day of smiles, laughs and dreams come true as children were treated to Cookies with Santa.
Santa took his time getting to know all the children.
The kids are part of the New York Edge after-school program which partnered with Fidelis Care for their annual Cookies with Santa event. Lori Vavrinec, the Director of Marketing for Fidelis says kids are the cornerstone of everything they do.
“It’s a nice way to give back to the community and bring a little smile and sunshine to the kids in the neighborhood.”

The New York Edge’s partnership with Fidelis provides more than 40,000 students with innovative programs to give them the edge to succeed.
There were so many kids there, Santa even had a helper, Fidelisaurus who handed out bags of goodies to the kids.
