NEW YORK (PIX111) – According to a new study by AYI.com, short men have  tough time dating in New York City.

Shorties in Manhattan and the Bronx looking for a date online will only get a little more than 1% of ladies to respond.

Brooklyn gives shorter guys a little more hope, with about 2.5% of guys getting a date.

Staten Islanders respond just over 4% of the time.

Studies indicate taller men actually make more money.

But, Jersey City is the most liberal of all, with 7.6% of vertically challenged men getting a date online.

And it turns out– it’s all about the money.

Researchers say humans were wired to equate money with height.

CEOs on average are 6 feet tall.  Only 3% of all CEOs are under 5’7”.

Studies show that for every extra inch of height, a man earns 2% more money.
