NEW YORK (PIX11) – Staff Sergeant Kevin Brady traveled from Fort Bragg army base to the save a pet animal rescue and adoption center for the emotional reunion.

With Baily — a stray dog that became his buddy while stationed in Afghanistan.

Guardians of rescue raised over 5-thousand dollars to arrange bailey`s return to the united states through its Paws of War’s ‘Operation No Buddy Left Behind’ program.

Bailey was quarantined, spayed and vaccinated, microchipped and groomed, so that she could be reunited with her hero and best friend on the Fourth of July.
