WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn – Police are searching for two men who tipped over a religious statue and broke it late last Saturday.

The NYPD says the vandals approached the front of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church on Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg around 11:55 p.m. and proceeded to stand on platforms where religious statues were located, causing one of them, an angel figure, to fall and break.

Surveillance video caught the pair, along with a third person, stumbling on the platform and making prayer signs before the statue crashed to floor.
