SANTA MONICA, Calif. (KTLA) — An alleged gunman was taken into custody near Santa Monica College on Friday after at least one person was killed in a shooting and two bodies were discovered in a nearby house.
Two other people have been confirmed dead inside a home that was set on fire in Santa Monica, law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times.
Neighbors saw a man fire three or four shots into a vehicle outside the home, witnesses said.
“It was really scary. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life,” said Reid Rosson, who witnessed the incident.
Two bodies were found inside the home, according to fire officials.
