NEW YORK (PIX11) – Redistricting put sitting Councilmembers Justin Brannan and Ari Kagan in the same district in South Brooklyn, which guaranteed a head-to-head battle during elections.
Brannan ended up getting 59% of the vote during District 47’s council race. Henry Rosoff has the breakdown.
