NYC mayor’s race: Ranked choice voting latest as absentee ballots are counted

NEW YORK — About 125,000 New Yorkers hold the key to the Democratic mayoral primary as the city awaits the count for absentee ballots.

The city is due for an update on the first ranked choice voting Tuesday.

Susan Lerner of “Rank the Vote NYC” explained absentee ballot protocol, the debacle over last week’s ballot blunder and lawsuits preserving the right to challenge the vote count.
