QUEENS — Police are looking the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in the Flushing area of Queens early Sunday morning.

Investigators say 41-year-old Mariano Contreras, of Corona, N.Y., was attempting to cross College Point Boulevard outside of the crosswalk around 1:09 a.m. when he was struck by a dark colored SUV.

He was transported to New York Hospital of Queens where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made and police are investigating.
