STATEN ISLAND (PIX11) — Two men are fighting for their lives Monday after a serious crash in Staten Island, authorities said.

It happened just after midnight Monday when two cars collided at Hylan Boulevard and Great Kills Road, police said.

A 27-year-old man was traveling north when a second car — driven by an 18-year-old man — jumped the media and collided with him head on, police said.

Both drivers were taken to a hospital in critical condition, authorities said. The younger driver suffered head trauma.
