BROOKLYN, N.Y.  (PIX11) — A city, a police department and the family of Wenjian Liu said their final good-byes to the slain NYPD detective.

Homemade signs were hung in this Brooklyn neighborhood and the streets filled with police officers from New York City and around the country.

Liu and his partner Rafael Ramos, who was buried last week, were gunned down in their patrol car in Bedford Stuyvesant on Dec. 20.
