CALIFORNIA (PIX11) — Paris Jackson – daughter of the late-King of Pop Michael Jackson – was hospitalized Wednesday after an apparent suicide attempt, TMZ is reporting.

Sources tell the celebrity website, that the 16-year-old was transported from her family’s Calabasas home on a stretcher and rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital just after 2 a.m.

Emergency personnel were responding to a 911 call that reported a possible overdose.

A spokesperson for the Jackson family did not immediately confirm or deny the report.

The alleged suicide attempt came within hours of erratic tweets posted on Jackson’s Twitter account.

Late Tuesday, Paris posed a question to her 1.1 million followers, asking why tears were salty. She later tweeted, “all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay.”
