NEWARK, N.J. (PIX11) — A New Jersey high school teacher was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting three students, police said.

Nicole Dufault, 34, is a language arts teacher at Columbia High School. She allegedly assaulted three 15-year-old boys who attend the school. Dufault is accused of having oral and vaginal sex with the students on school property and in her car on multiple occasions.

Police say the incidents occurred during the regular school year and summer school in 2013 and 2014. Dufault was arrested Wednesday night at her home. She was charged with multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

The 34-year-old, who worked at the school for approximately nine years, has two minor children who have since been removed from her custody.

Dufault is currently being held at the Essex County Correctional Facility on $500,000 bail.
