Barnes and Noble had a familiar visitor on Saturday — our own Mr. G held story time as part of a family literacy program.

G emceed the event, where local community members read to the children and did some arts and crafts.

The program is put on by the Brooke Jackman Foundation. Jackman was killed in the 9/11 attacks — but her sister makes sure her passion to help children lives on.

The program also gives families free MetroCards, and at the reading sessions they get a free meal. And they get to meet Mr. G.

Maybe he read his favorite book, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.”
