The Youth Football League recently lost a $2 million case after the organization was found responsible for the death of 25-year-old Joseph Cernac, who suffered from a condition brought on by untreated concussions.

Between 1.6 million to 3.8 million traumatic brain injuries caused by sports occur each year and more than 50 percent go unreported.

Can these types of injuries be prevented and treated?  Coach Solomon of the championship youth football team, the Brooklyn Titans and founder of Brain Balance Centers, Dr. Robert Melilla discuss what can be done.
