NEW YORK (PIX11) — Britain and the world said farewell to Queen Elizabeth II on Monday, as the late monarch was laid to rest in a state funeral.
Journalist Thomas Mace-Archer-Mills joined PIX11 Morning News to discuss the significance and symbolism of the ceremony.
“As any family would want to mourn, we would like to do it privately, but this family can’t,” said Mace-Archer-Mills. “They have to be seen. They are the representatives of several countries.”
