NEW YORK (PIX11) — Governor Hochul unveiled New York’s $227 billion budget plan for the 2024 fiscal year, which includes bail reform, child care, and increasing minimum wage.

However, Hochul may face some pushback from members of the Democratic party to get the budget approved.

Senator John Liu, joined PIX11 Morning News to share more on the upcoming showdown in Albany, and some of his objections to the governor’s budget plan.
