Progressongs: Classic nursery rhymes get more-inclusive storylines

NEW YORK CITY — It’s easy to find many iterations of classic nursery rhymes across YouTube, but a new channel for kids has a different goal.

Started by a Manhattan mom and Broadway singer, who also performs in many of the animated videos, “Progressongs” is giving those famous jingles more-inclusive and progressive story lines.

The aim is to introduce various types of diversity to young children early on.
