NEW YORK — Meet the Nassau County Fire Service Academy, one of the finest training facilities in the United States.

The academy trains firefighters, police recruits and emergency workers to get them prepared for different scenarios they may face while on duty.

The academy trains about 70,000 fire and emergency workers of all levels of training in different scenarios, including elevated rescues, live fire training at buildings, railroad trains and propane training.
