The 2015 Miss USA pageant went on as planned on Sunday night.

However it has been clouded with controversy stemming from Donald Trump’s comments on immigration and Mexicans.

Trump’s corporations owns the Miss Universe organizations and its sister properties: the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants. And over the last couple of weeks, because of anti-Trump sentiment, NBC pulled out from broadcasting the pageant but the show went on.
