NYC Summer Youth Employment Program deadline extended to Friday

NEW YORK — New York City teens and young adults can earn some extra cash this summer, but they better act fast.

The country’s largest Summer Youth Employment Program is back, and they’re accepting applications until Friday.

Nurus Salam, director of Career Ready at the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, spoke to PIX11 News about what makes this year’s program different and whether there are some remote opportunities due to COVID-19.
