Celebrating NYC Restaurant Week: Rincón Salvadoreño in Queens

NEW YORK — To celebrate New York City Restaurant Week, the PIX11 Morning News has been trying dishes from some of the best restaurants across the five boroughs.

New York City’s first Salvadoran restaurant, Rincón Salvadoreño, is located in the heart of Jamaica, Queens.

Owner Elena Barcenes chatted with the Morning News crew as they tasted some of the family eatery’s most popular dishes.

Rincón Salvadoreño is located at 92-15 149th Street in Queens.
