According to the National Institute of Mental Health, more than 31% of Americans experience an anxiety disorder at some point in their lifetime.

That anxiety can interfere with many parts of our daily lives, including the ability to get a good night’s sleep.

The “Sleep Doctor,” Dr. Michael Breus, spoke with the PIX11 Morning News about the relationship between anxiety and sleep, and ways we can try to calm our minds and get better rest.
