HARLEM, Manhattan — A hidden room in Harlem is bringing us back to the Roaring Twenties.

Every neighborhood has a go-to spot.

In Harlem, it was once known as Billie’s Black, but after going through a makeover, Billie Black is now under a new name: B Squared.

B Squared Harlem has a new, laid back vibe with a 1920s feel of the Harlem jazz and prohibition era.

In B Squared, you can find a hidden room: Welcome to Room 623.

It’s a totally different vibe from upstairs; with leather couches, velvet on the wall and live music from up-and-coming local musicians.

Here, you don’t need a password to get in, but you do get a key!

The food also harkens back to good old fashioned grandma’s cooking.

Dishes include Wine-braised Octopus, short ribs with pureed parsnip and friends sweet potato shaving

You also need to try one of their signature cocktail drinks!

It’s so good you’ll be stumbling right back.

B Squared Harlem is located at 271 W. 119th St.
