If you’re a woman in New York City chances are you’ve walked down the street only to hear a series of “psst’s, “yo baby”s or “hey ma'”s.

And if its made you uncomfortable you’re not alone.

On Monday, Alicia Keys released a blog post mentioning how she herself dressed like a tomboy to avoid the cat calls.
