THE BRONX — Noelle Santos, owner of The Lit. Bar, the Bronx’s only independent bookstore, tells PIX11’s Marysol Castro how she’s been dealing with the COVID-19 shutdown, preparing for reopening and the ongoing protests against police brutality.
Santos had to close The Lit. Bar when the pandemic hit, but has been able to use the store and literature to help join and start social justice conversations in her community and beyond.
