NEW YORK — New York City is home to nearly 800,000 Muslims, and half of them are women.

High-end retailer Nordstrom just partnered with a Muslim designer to launch a cultural collection coming to all their stores nationwide.

Hilal Ibrahim, who founded the Henna & Hijabs line, spoke with the PIX11 Morning News on Friday.

Ibrahim shared the inspiration behind the collection, the response she’s gotten so far and when it will be available.
