NEW YORK (PIX11) – The future of Rikers Island remains in question. A hearing is set for next month to determine whether or not a federal receiver will take over the troubled complex.
There are also rumors that Louis Molina, the commissioner of the New York City Corrections Department, will be leaving his post in the coming weeks.
