NEW YORK (PIX11) — Fierce winter weather has forced the cancellation of flights, as well as train and bus trips, across the US in the days ahead of Christmas.
But the threat of heavy rain and snow also affects the most popular way of getting around: driving.
Robert Sinclair of AAA joined PIX11 Morning News on Thursday to share tips for safe road travel amid the winter weather, including steps you can take before even beginning your trip.
“Please, give the vehicle maintenance before you hit the road,” said Sinclair. “I would hate for anyone to get broken down. It puts a real damper on the holiday.”
