Caroling with a cultural twist: Melrose Parranda returns to the South Bronx

NEW YORK — The streets of the South Bronx will come alive with the sounds of holiday music Tuesday night during the seventh annual Melrose Parranda.

The traditional Puerto Rican caroling procession will be led by Grammy-nominated percussionist Bobby Sanabria.

Sanabria and Elena Martinez, co-artistic directors of the new Bronx Music Hall, joined the PIX11 Morning News to talk more about the holiday festivities.
