October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and experts say early detection is one of the most crucial strategies for treating breast cancer.

However, due to the pandemic, many women put off their annual screening.

Dr. Sarah Cate, a breast surgeon from Mount Sinai Health System, joined the PIX11 Morning News on Friday, the first day of the important month, to talk about the impact of delayed screenings.
