NEW YORK — Award-winning filmmaker Stanley Nelson stopped by the PIX11 Morning News to talk about his Grammy-nominated Miles Davis documentary.

“Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool” is Nelson’s deep dive into the world of the music giant and features never-before-seen footage of the jazz icon.

“Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool” premieres tonight, Tuesday, Feb 25, at 9 p.m. on PBS as part of their American Masters series.
