It’s the first day of school for more than one million New York City students Wednesday but not all of them will be heading to a traditional classroom.
That’s because thousands of students are opting to go a different route, homeschooling.
Homeschooling consultant Laure Block Spigel along with Ana Santiago and her son, Marco who is currently being homeschooled, talk more about this form of education.
