Breaking down the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes in NYC

NEW YORK — It’s no secret that many Asian-Americans feel their community has been under attack in recent months.

Anti-Asian violent crimes are way up in 2021, compared to 2020.

Wellington Chen, executive director of the Chinatown Partnership spoke with the PIX11 Morning News on Thursday about the issue, how many Asians in New York are feeling, and what you can do as a bystander if you witness an attack.
