NYCHA needs more manpower to make repairs, tenant leader says

The tenant leader of an Upper West Side public housing development reached out to PIX11’s Monica Morales for help.

Carmen Quionones, tenant president at the Douglass houses, said there isn’t enough manpower to make repairs and handle upkeep. Right now, a mother of three’s apartment is flooding, and repairs can’t be done, until next month, she said.

Monica is making it happen.
