QUEENS, New York (PIX11) — A New York City man was arrested at LaGuardia Airport early Wednesday morning after Transportation Security officers found three weapons in his bag.

The man was going through security when TSA officers detected not one, but three weapons in his carry-on bag. A hatchet, a folding knife and brass knuckles among the Manhattan man’s personal items.

TSA officers immediately contacted the Port Authority Police Department. The man was arrested and officers took possession of the weapons.

TSA reminds travelers to be mindful of the items in their baggage to look through bags before arriving at the airport to make sure there are no illegal or prohibited items.
