QUEENS (PIX11)– Police say a 53-year-old woman was killed after a car hit her early Saturday.
The incident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. on Liberty Avenue and Tuckerton Street.
According to authorities, a 2007 Dodge Charger, driven by a 38-year-old man, was traveling westbound on Liberty Avenue when the victim while mid-block was trying to cross south.
The driver remained at the scene.
There are no arrests at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
