HOMETOWN TEAM: The Forest Hills Robotics League participates in multiple competitions throughout the year and they build their own robots! Members of the teams, the Hydro Mechanics and the Gear Masters, showcase some of their creations that have won awards and competed.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN: The U.S. Open first took place 50 years ago, right here in Forest Hills at the West Side Tennis Club. PIX11 investigative reporter Mary Murphy takes a deeper look at her favorite sport, and brings her son along for the ride.
