CORONA, Queens — Children as young as six from across the country converged on Queens Theater in Flushing Meadows Corona Park Tuesday for the chance to be one of the lucky 12 belting out “America The Beautiful” at the 2015 US Open.

The winners will perform the patriotic tune before 24,000 spectators during night sessions of the US Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

The US Open starts August 31 and lasts through September 13.
