6 in custody, number of weapons seized in Queens bust: sources

HOWARD BEACH, Queens — Law enforcement sources tell PIX11 that at least six people are in police custody and “a number of weapons” were seized at a Queens home in a Monday morning raid.

The bust came after a search warrant was issued for the Howard Beach residence located near the corner of Lahn Street and 155th Avenue, according to law enforcement sources.

The NYPD said there was an ongoing operation at the location but did provide any additional information.

Details of the amount of weapons, type of weapons or any arrests or charges are not clear at this time.
