NEW YORK (PIX11) — The holiday week is in full swing, and you can see it on the roads, along the tracks and at the airports.

But there’s another reason to be watching the skies.

A winter storm is in the forecast for a big section of the country, and that will complicate travel plans for millions of people. Many airlines have waived change fees and are not charging the difference in fares if people leave on Thursday instead of Friday or Saturday.
